Fatal shooting prompts outcry among Sikhs, Muslims (AP)

Singh, 67,  and Gurmej Atwal, 78, were shot by a passing vehicle, Friday, while out for a walk near their homes in Elk Grove, Calif.  Surinder died at the scene and Atwal,  who was shot twice in the chest, is listed in critical condition.
