Mormon church lowers age limit for missionaries

The Mormon church will lower its minimum age requirements for missionaries from 19 to 18 for men and from 21 to 19 for women, the faith's president announced Saturday.

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Benedict will "most likely" pardon his former butler, a Vatican spokesman said on Saturday after Paolo Gabriele was sentenced to 18 months in jail for stealing sensitive documents.
